Graduate Handbook

Policies and procedures for on-campus MS and PhD degrees in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering are described in detail in the graduate handbook.

Current students enrolled in the Department of Industrial and Systems Engineering need to follow the policies and procedures contained in the version of the handbook under which they are/were admitted. The handbook also contains detailed information on degree requirements for on-campus graduate degrees in Industrial Engineering (IE). The degree requirements for all students enrolled in IE degree programs are included in the handbook.

Funding Resources

Resources to help students afford graduate study might include assistantships, fellowships, traineeships and financial aid. More information about these funding opportunities is available on the  graduate school funding page.

Please note that, per UW-Madison policy, students in these programs are not eligible to receive tuition remission from graduate assistantship appointments.
