Individual Support

Engineering Let’s Talk offers drop-in, one-on-one 20-30 minute consultations where students can discuss anything impacting their wellbeing. This is a great option for students wanting to try out talking to a therapist, learn more about services, or address a concern.  Let’s Talk consultations are not mental health treatment and can be accessed by students regardless of their current location. Check the current Let’s Talk schedule for availability.

Engineering Single Sessions are self-scheduled one-on-one 60 minute counseling appointments.  This is a great option for students wanting longer, dedicated time to address a concern.  Single sessions offer brief, solution focused support and typically last 1-3 sessions.  Students interested in ongoing counseling support are encouraged to schedule an Access Appointment with UHS.  Single Sessions are mental health treatment and can only be accessed by students located in Wisconsin at the time of the appointment.  Students can self-schedule a Single Session via the MyUHS portal, detailed instructions for scheduling are here.
