Introduction to Mechanics and Applications in Engineering

InterEGR 130

Introduction to mechanics and applications in engineering, including introduction to free body diagrams, spatial awareness, and how to use vectors in engineering applications.

This course is designed for students that have not taken AP Physics in high school or do not feel comfortable with the material taught in AP Physics. It is designed to prepare students for Statics (EMA 201) and General Physics I (Physics 201) and intended to be taken the semester before enrolling in these courses.  The course is offered in two formats:

InterEGR 130 (1cr) Online, asynchronous or in-person

Success in Engineering Academics

InterEGR 140 

InterEGR 140 is an academic success course to help further develop study skills, time management, and problem solving to  prepare for the rigors of engineering course work. Recommended for second and third semester students, the course is open to all students.
