Study Abroad

Studying abroad can play a significant role in enhancing your undergraduate education. With approximately 20 programs specifically for engineering students as well as additional opportunities through UW Study Abroad programs, an international experience can help you develop confidence and cross-cultural skills for the job market, and gain flexibility, adaptability, and problem-solving skills at the same time it fulfills your quest for adventure and learning.

The College of Engineering partners closely with International Academic Programs to offer programs specifically for engineering students that allow you to take the classes you need to continue making progress on your degree while you’re abroad.

Study Abroad Advisors can help you plan your experiences that fit your interests, schedule and program preferences. Engineering students are able to participate in engineering specific programs or explore the many additional programs that also offer engineering and other related courses that fulfill degree requirements.
