This service is available to any College of Engineering researcher looking for support beyond the proposal preparation and compliance review already provided by departmental and college research administration.

Administrative Support
The administrative support team helps PIs comply with deadlines and regulations associated with each funding opportunity.
- Project plan/timeline development
- Review FOA and provide compliance guidance to PIs
- Assure university, state, and federal policies and campus procedures are followed
- Budget layout and support in compliance with FOA
- Provide FOA requirements for Broader Impacts and Inclusion, Equity and Diversity (IED) activities
- Compliance-based review before proposal submission
Editorial Support
PIs define what and how much editorial support in which they wish to engage.
- Project plan/timeline development
- Develop and design graphics/figures that support and improve the comprehension of the technical narrative
- Review proposal drafts for substance, effectiveness, form, clarity, stylistic consistency
- Final document editing/optimization, layout, and/or formatting
- Final document proofreading (examining text for typographical, grammar, style, and spelling mistakes)
Research Development Support
The Research Impact and Outreach team fosters relationship building for PI’s and a variety of stakeholders.
- Administer individual and group visit and travel reimbursement for
- Topical lobbying days
- Policy conferences
- Advisory panel
- Assess substance and effectiveness of Broader Impacts and IED activities
- Helps faculty leverage free campus Overleaf licenses for more ease in proposal word processing
