New locations for several engineering groups

Dear students, faculty and staff:

Now that we’re a week into August, we’ve begun to anticipate the start of our new academic year. And this year, as we prepare for our new engineering building and the closure of 1410 Engineering Drive, we are in the process of moving people into different spaces on and around the engineering campus.

New locations (once moves are completed):

  • 1410 Engineering Drive Computer-Aided Engineering lab—Wendt Commons, first floor
  • 1410 Engineering Drive CAE Helpdesk—Wendt Commons, first floor
  • Advising staff (undergraduate and graduate students)—Wendt Commons, first floor
  • CAE staff—Rust-Schreiner Hall, 115 N. Orchard St. and Mechanical Engineering Building
  • Engineering Career Services—1147 Engineering Hall
  • Engineering External Relations (communications)—Rust-Schreiner Hall, 115 N. Orchard St.
  • Engineering Media Services—1701 Engineering Hall or 1314 Engineering Hall
  • Engineering Student Center—1150 Engineering Hall
  • Interpro staff—Rust Schreiner Hall, 115 N. Orchard St., Fluno Center and Pyle Center
  • Student organizations formerly housed in 1410 Engineering Drive—Rust-Schreiner Hall, 115 N. Orchard St.

Several other moves may also take place.

In many cases, we have been working throughout summer to renovate new spaces for these groups, and our hope is that we are able to complete all of these moves by late September.

I wish you a wonderful month of August leading into the start of the fall semester!
